We will also have the opportunity to hear from Mary Beth Brown about her personal experience in overcoming leadership challenges as the retired VP of Manufacturing for Hallmark.
“For 25 years Rick Tirrell, Ph.D. has helped leaders build their skills in publicly traded companies, privately held firms, and civic organizations. His interpretation of the art and science of leadership gives the aspiring leader and mentor an actionable toolbox for developing effective leadership skills. His seminars convert leadership theory into useful steps every leader can take. His experience comes from community leaders, frontline supervisors, and the corner office, as well as from having started and led two companies himself. His Ph.D. is in psychology and his fourth business book is the newly released Leadership Rites of Passage. You can contact Rick through the website navigator group inc.com.”
Mary Beth is a wife, mother of two (now grown) and a retired senior leader from Hallmark Cards where I spent 33 years in a variety of leadership positions both "line" and staff. I have also served as adjunct faculty at the University of Kansas. I have a BS in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State, an MBA from KU and am a licensed engineer in Kansas.
