Event Description:
Residents from Johnson and Wyandotte counties will join the American Cancer Society to raise funds and awareness in an effort to save lives, celebrate lives and lead the fight for a world without cancer by participating in the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Jo-Dotte event on June 23, 2017.
Throughout the night there will be a carnival-like atmosphere with an Opening Ceremony at 7 p.m., Survivor/ Caregiver Lap at 7:15-7:30 p.m. and a Luminaria Ceremony at 10 p.m. The Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest fundraising event to save lives from cancer. Uniting communities across the globe, we celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action for lifesaving change.
