Business Basics in a Day

This day-long seminar will cover the basics of starting a small business, including determining whether your idea is feasible, creating a business plan, choosing a legal entity, forming financial projections, marketing, developing a web presence, and bookkeeping. Guest presenters will include an attorney, a commercial banker, and an accountant. Entrepreneurs will share their stories during a panel discussion with an opportunity for questions.  This active learning module includes hands-on computer lab time. Box lunch is provided.
